Geeta Saar

Geeta remains the most authentic and indeed one of the best books that comprise the Hindu philosophy of life in the most succinct way. Most of us may not have read the book, but almost every Hindu is likely to have gone through excerpts from Geeta over the centuries. How ironical then it is that while having read it, we never try to understand the Geeta Saar, or practice it … For the benefit of those 99 per cent among us who keep forgetting the basics enshrined in Geeta, here are the pearls of wisdom as enunciated by Lord Krishna. They should inspire you to pick up the book and read through its various interpretations. I will soon try to post the best resources on Geeta soon. In case you know of any, please do let me know.

Whatever happened, happened for good.

Whatever is happening, is happening for good.

Whatever happens, will happen for good.

What have you lost for which you are crying?

What did you bring with you, which you have lost?

What did you produce, which has been destroyed?

You did not bring anything when you were born.

Whatever you have, you have received from Him.

Whatever you will give, you will give to Him.

You came empty handed and you will go the same way.

Whatever is yours today was somebody else’s yesterday and will be somebody else’s tomorrow.

Change is the law of the universe.

If you look at what you do not have in life, you don’t have anything, if you look at what you have in life, you have everything.”
